Three-dimensional products such as bottles, tubes and cylindrical containers can pose significant vision inspection challenges. The OmniView System utilizes the latest in vision technology to allow for 360-degree in-line container inspection. In the past, this process has traditionally required line-scan vision technology coupled with complex mechanical handling devices for image acquisition.

OmniView enables less-intrusive integration options and higher throughput rates by allowing for label inspection on the container, which assures a higher degree of labeling integrity vs. label web inspection prior to application.

OmniView’s state-of-the art vision technology provides a 100-percent inspection of a cylindrical object’s circumference, including pharmaceutical and medical device labels, food labels and other applications. The system utilizes multiple cameras to obtain multiple independent images of an object, then unwraps, flattens and stitches those separate images together to provide a full and detailed inspection of an object’s entire circumference.

OmniView is capable of running a wide array of vision tools including Optical Character Verification/Recognition (OCV/R), bar code inspection, print-quality inspection, part gauging, pattern matching and more.
